♦ Juan Castaneda - It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of a great personal friend, and a friend to AYSO, the Regional Commissioner for many years from Chino Region 67. Juan Castaneda passed away last Friday. After battling illness from liver disease and several organ transplants, he finally lost the fight. His always warm smile and HUGE helping hands will surely be missed. All those he touched will remember him.
Juan’s wife, Ave Castaneda, says “Thank you to everyone who has had a kind word to say about Juan. We will all miss him very much. Please join the family for the funeral service on Monday, April 2, from 5-9 PM at Funeraria del Ángel Pierce Brothers Griffith, 13002 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710. Please also join the family as we lay Juan to rest at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 3, beginning at 10:45."
Any donations for the family can be sent to AYSO Region 67 at PO Box 861, Chino, CA 91708. Please note Juan Castaneda in the memo line.
Additional information for Juan please check this link Juan.

2012 AREA 1B-1U SPRING LEAGUE PLAYOFF SCHEDULE IS HERE! UPDATED with results from 4/26/12.
PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE IN THE U12 REFEREE ASSIGNMENTS. THEY HAVE BEEN SWITCHED!
A couple of things about the schedule:
ALL REFEREE ASSIGNMENTS ARE BEING MADE TO THE REGIONS. The hope is that the regions will provide referees that are not associated with the teams.
Each player MUST play at least ½ half game, no exceptions unless they arrive late or are injured.
All games are full length.
Each game MUST have a winner, NO TIES!
All games will go immediately to Shots from the mark if drawn at the end of regulation time.
Medals will be awarded for teams finishing First through Fourth.
CLASSES AND TRAINING INFORMATION... Also check your own region's web site for local training opportunities.
