AYSO Area 1B

The Basic referee course is course number  200906470.  Currently registered volunteers can sign up for this course at eAYSO.  You MUST have your voulnteer ID number to register using eAYSO.  There will be no charge to attend!

Course dates:  January 8^th and 9^th 2010.
Times:  6:30 to 9:30PM on Friday, 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday.

All training materials will be provided.  There will be an exam on Saturday, that requires a score of 75% to pass. Pizza and snacks will be provided on Friday, and Starbucks coffee and pastry on Saturday.

AREAS 1B and 1U REFEREE INSTRUCTION COMING IN FEBRUARY 2010 

AYSO Areas B and U are jointly holding the following courses for referees:

Referee Assessor:  February 2^nd and 4^th, with a practicum on February 6,^, 2010.  Course No. is 200906469.
Intermediate Referee:  February 20^th and 21^st 2010.  Course #:  200906357.
Advanced Referee:  February 20^th and 21^st 2010, Course #:  200906358.

Area 11L is putting on similar courses in January.  The advantage to you as a referee in Area B or U is that the courses will be paid for by the Areas.  And you don’t have to go nearly as far to attend.  The courses will be held at the AQMD headquarters, 21865 Copley Drive in Diamond BarRequirements to attend:

   ·         Assessor:  Three years as AYSO referee and recommendation of your RRA.
    ·         Intermediate Referee:  25 games, age 14.
    ·         Advanced Referee:  50 games, age 16.
